I Love the Library

The library, the library, I love, love, love the library
One thing you should know about me, I love, love, love...the library!
It's a place that's bright and warm
It's a place that's calm and quiet
It's a place where you can read a book and you don't...have to buy it
The chairs are nice and comfy
The lighting is just right, any book you want is here
And if I could...I'd stay all night! I like to read biographies and scientific theory
There's comic books and cookbooks, too, and the history of...Lake Erie
I find a book and sit and read by the light of the tasteful lamp
And if you want to take it home, I'll stamp it with...my trusty stamp
What if I want a particular book that's high up on a shelf?
We've got rolling footstools and you can get it down yourself
And if the book's up really high?
That's no tricky matter, just come and ask the librarian and I'll climb my fancy ladder
The library, the library, I love, love, love the library
You love it just as much as me
We love, love, love...the library!

A Happy, Happy Ending

Now I'm happy and I have this happy look, 'cause now I've got the time to finish up this book
Hey, Don Austin, I'm glad to let you do it, you did the right thing, you came here to renew it
I don't have to run off like a bandit for the border
I don't have to worry that my books are not in order...
Looks like we got us a happy, happy ending
It all went down and nobody's sore
Looks like we got us a happy, happy ending
Better than the ending I was picturing before!
Now I'm smiling and here's what it's all about, when he returns that book, then I can take it out
First did our guarding, but now, we're happy guards, 'cause now that things are settled, our job is not so hard
I'm so pleased that soon that book will be back in the stacks
We're so pleased that now we can just hang out and relax...
Looks like we got us a happy, happy ending
It all worked out and everybody won

I'm usually just a photographer snappin' pictures for the news

I try to take some good shots that the newspaper can use

But if I hear some kind of trouble or see it with my eyes

I spin and snap and just like that...I change my whole disguise

I got a secret identity, it's crazy but it's true

When I'm a superhero, I run with super speed

I zip and zoom around the town and rescue those in need

And when I am all finished, I strike this nifty pose

The Gods of Mount Olympus

Come on, let's go above the clouds to a place that's way up high
Where ancient gods control the world from their thrones up in the sky
I'm not sure that we'll be welcome
Aw, come on, don't be a wimpus
Wimpus?
Come on with me and we'll go see...the gods of Mount Olympus
Up above on Mount Olympus is a world all soft and white
Where we'll ask the gods to stop the rain and be back before tonight
I agree it would be better if the sun were out again
So may I suggest an heroic quest
A heroic task
Let's go and ask the gods of Mount Olympus
We should take with us an offering, something that might appease
Cause the gods are often grumpy and they can be hard to please
We could teach them basketball!

Count me in, my dear companion, you don't have to ask me twice
Let's go and find this Tasha, she might even be nice
It'll be a great adventure playing basketball in the sky
